The expedition now starts the long journey towards Ghanzi Botswana. The day will primarily consist of driving and one border crossing. During this time you can enjoy the scenery on route and get to know your guide.

After breakfast we will join the San people for a cultural experience, learning about their ways and traditions. We then head north towards the panhandle area of the okavango river. Here we spend the next three nights in the part of the Okavango river that splits into various river arms and tributaries. This river system offers fertile fishing grounds with opportunity to catch Tiger Fish, Nembwe and various Tilapia, Bass and Bream species. African River pike is rare but also a possibility, youll have to be really lucky though. The Okavango Pan Handle area is one of the best fresh water fishing in Africa.

We now pack up our rods and re-enter Namibia and pass through the Mahangu Game Reserve on the way. Mahangu Park is known for its dense wildlife populations, where you can see herds of Elephants, Lions and other species all concentrated in a relatively small area. We then end the day in Kasane (Botswana). The next morning we will be shuttled through the Zimbabwe border and explore the mighty Victoria Falls, or Mozi Ou Tunya, or places thunderous smoke, for the day. After our return you can rest during the hot part of the day in preparation for a late afternoon fishing excursion.

We now return to Namibia, but the fishing isnt over yet, we spend one whole day in Katima Mulilo along the Zambezi River to once again try our hand at catching that grand Tiger Fish. The next day, depending on the departing flight to Windhoek, a morning fishing session can be done.

If time allows you can enjoy a city tour or chose to shop for presents and trinkets in the city center.
